"Indigo" - Box
"Indigo" - Box
Hand-painted wooden box decorated with a sculpture made of air-dry clay. The sculpture depicts the “verdigris agaric” also called the "blue-green stropharia" mushroom, which ends in a quartz crystal embedded in the wood and attached to the mushroom.
✶ Entirely hand-painted box
✶ The box is covered with a layer of resistant varnish for its finish and protection.
✶ The mushroom is entirely hand-sculpted and coated with UV resin.
✶ The interior is lined with velvet fabric.
Maintenance & precautions
The air-dry clay was waterproofed before painting. The box and the sculpture are protected by a coat of varnish and UV resin, respectively. I recommend dusting the box with a dry microfiber cloth. A slightly damp cloth may be used if necessary, however.
It must not be immersed in water or remain in prolonged contact with moisture.
To preserve the creation for as long as possible, avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for long periods. It is not designed for prolonged outdoor use.
The sculpture remains fragile and may break if dropped or struck. Should this happen, please contact me so we can see together if a repair is possible.
